Realisitic CGI Leaf

With Maya, developing a new Shader Network or working on Node-Based Shader Development has never been simpler. Gaining an understanding of each shader utility's operation can assist you accomplish your CGI creations.

I used Shader Utilities in Maya to make a realistic-looking leaf.

Textures and utilities are combined to create the leaf shader. The texture is double-sided and mapped to maps for color, bump, and specular effects. The Alpha Channel transferred to the Shader produced the precise shadows. I advise you to render this shader using Software Renderer.
